Here we go again...

On March 7th, 2008, my girlfriend Julie and I returned to Australia for our second three week vacation there. We went there for the first time in 2005, and loved it so much that we decided to go back again and see some places that we didn't get a chance to visit before. This time around, we visited Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Hobart and a lot of the rest of Tasmania, Adelaide, Kangaroo Island, and the Flinders Ranges.

The purpose of this site is to help me remember all the details of the trip, tell our friends about the things that we did, and show off some of the photos that I took. Once again, I had my trusty (well, mostly trusty) Canon S70 camera strapped around my wrist for the whole trip, still trying to learn how to take good pictures and capture all the awesome things that we saw.

Most of the links in the text are to photos that I took on the trip, with some scattered links to other websites with more details about some particularly interesting things. For a more photo-centric view of the trip, you can also check out my Flickr album devoted to this trip.

So, click the navigation bar to the left to start reading the long-winded (but hopefully entertaining) details of our trials and tribulations a long way from home. Enjoy!
